Named in the official store description: "accommodate your Merlies and train them to get ready for exploration". Training is the bridge between the village-building loop and the exploration loop — comfort at home converts into capability abroad.

How It Works
Scrap In, Skill Out
Training is what makes scraps more than decoration: the junk you haul home becomes the infrastructure that hardens fragile birds for the thorns and drops outside. It is the game's quiet answer to "gear progression" — a cozy armory made of upcycled furniture.
The Accommodation Chain
The official loop runs accommodate, then train: a rescued Merlie needs a home before it can prepare for exploration. Skipping steps should bottleneck the flock's growth the way skipping accommodation bottlenecks a rescue chain.
How to Use It
Balancing Home and Away
- End every expedition at the village: deposit scraps, accommodate newcomers.
- Train the birds you explore with most often — depth beats breadth early on.
- Re-invest in village facilities as the flock grows; the two loops feed each other.
